Me (Erik)

“Gambrinous with griffonage?” Gambrinous is an obscure word meaning “being full of beer.” Illegible handwriting is known as “griffonage.” My handwriting has always been horrible, and much more so when I am drunk. Neither of which has anything to do with why I blog. Actually, the alcohol might have something to do with that…. I do this because I thought I would share the wanderings on which my mind takes me. And because I feel like torturing others.

Well, I think it’s funny….

It has been a long week and now the weekend is over. I have been sick since we returned from Dallas. Today is the first day I have remotely felt better. Remotely. Whatever I caught has kicked the crap out of me (not literally, for the most part).

Oh, and I miss my buddy…

He is dealing with some heavy things right now. I just want him to know I’m here for him.

Until next time…

I can’t believe it’s November already. This year has just flown by at an unbelievable pace. I guess that happens when one is happy? I have a great “husbear” who makes me happy. I have a “best buddy” that I enjoy having fun with and hanging around. Day work is good. The night job could be a little better, but things are improving for all at the shop, so that’s good. Maybe it’s not age that makes the years go faster—maybe it’s being happy?

Until next time…

I have a friend who went into the hospital last night for chest pains. More than likely it was induced by stress build-up. So, the question is—how do you help someone who has bottled up all that stress?

I’ve been in the same stress-bottle-boat before, and I still don’t know how I overcame it, or if I really ever did. So how could I possibly help someone else?

Until next time…
Erik
